How to Use Help |

|
There are several ways to find what you are looking for using the help manual. You can browse through the Contents or Index section or you can search the entire manual for a specific word or phrase. There is also a Favorites tab where you can add specific topics that you view the most.
Contents
The Contents tab is basically like a Table of Contents. It lists all chapters and topics.
| » | This help manual is separated into five (5) major chapters (Introduction, Getting Started, Installation, Main Menu, and Icon Toolbar). |
| » | Chapters are distinguished by a book  or  , while topics are distinguished by a sheet of paper  . |
| » | The chapters basically give an overview of what is contained within them. While the topics provide the in-depth details on the specified topic. |
| » | Use the + and - signs to expand and collapse the chapters. |
Index
The Index tab displays a list of commonly used Check Cashing Manger terms and phrases.
| » | The Index tab is an alphabetical list of common words or phrases that you can browse through. |
| » | Double-click on any word/phrase to view the chapters/topics associated with it. |
Search
The Search tab allows you to search the entire manual.
| » | The Search tab allows you to search for a specific word or phrase. |
| » | All topics that contain that word will be displayed. |
| » | Double-click on any topic to view it. Each instance of the word/phrase that you searched on will be highlighted in the text. |
Favorites
The Favorites tab is a list of all topics that you have marked as a favorite.
| » | The Favorites tab is a list of all topics that you have added to your favorites. |
| » | Simply use the Add/Remove buttons at the bottom of the screen to manage your favorites. |
Other Features
This set of buttons are located in the upper right corner of the viewing window.
| » | Use the left arrow to move to the previous topic. |
| » | Use the right arrow to move to the next topic. |
| » | Use the print button to print the selected topic. This will automatically expand any toggle sections on that page (if any). |
| » | Use the envelope to send kSoft feedback on the selected topic. |
The "bread crumb" trail is located at the top of the viewing window.
| » | This is basically like a directory of where you currently are in the manual. |
| » | Icon Toolbar is the main chapter and within that chapter is the Customer Listing chapter and within that chapter is the Add New Customer chapter. And finally within the last chapter is the Using ScanShell 800 topic. |
